Harry G. Traver: Legends of Terror

Synopsis:
"Legends of Terror" takes you back into time to the life of late coaster designer, Harry G. Traver. Though known as not having a strength in business, Traver was a philosopher, historian and a designer with a vision for some of the most twisted and wicked roller coasters that ever existed in history.
The book gives insight into the designer's turmoils and triumphs compiling photos and interviews from those who knew him well. Though "Legends" mainly covers amusement parks Traver was involved with from around the country, there is a section that offers information about his famous but short lived coaster, Zip, that operated at Oaks Park in Portland, Oregon. This book is fascinating and has quite a few black and white photos of Traver's coasters.
