Synopsis:
An illustrated history of the PNE's early beginnings to the 1982 fair. This book is mainly comprised of early photos from early newpaper clippings with quotes to black and white photos. There are also a handful of photos of Hastings Park and the first recreational center known as Happyland - an amusement park located in the east end of the park to help promote employment and entertainment in a growing rural area. The book is an interesting read and provides information about much that took place at the PNE from its conception to World War I and World War II and to the changing culture of the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's.
