Synopsis:
The article that captured my attention in this issue was about "Tailspinning Roller Coasters". The magazine also offered a listing of the top 10 roller coasters on the West Coast. The Puyallup Fair coaster was amongst this listing. I had not known of the Puyallup coaster's existence prior to this time (1976). Needless to say, I was pretty surprised and excited to learn there was actually a wooden roller coaster operating in Washington state. However, I would not see this coaster until the Fall of 1991 since my mom was not keen on traveling across the state to ride a roller coaster.
